The classic use of a fence as a simple boundary structure can be rather primitive in the modern world. When it is necessary to create not only a boundary but also provide reliable protection of the territory, a flat razor-cut barrier becomes an appropriate solution. One of the key advantages of a flat barrier is that a razor-cut barrier simultaneously combines three functions – perimeter demarcation, security, and visual design.
There are several ways to implement a flat razor-cut barrier: as a conventional fence; as several rows of flat razor-cut elements where the coils of razor wire or reinforced razor tape are arranged in one plane; or as Piranha razor mesh with sharp spikes – a barrier that may take the form of a sheet with diamond-shaped cells, supplied either with a frame or without one. When protecting a long perimeter, a flat Piranha razor-cut barrier may be installed without the use of a metal frame.
